We’re excited to announce the @task 2009 user conference, taking place May 13-15 at the foot of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains, home of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Mark your calendars now so that you can be sure to attend—you won’t want to miss it!

On May 22, 2008, @task won the 2008 SIIA CODiE award for “Best Project Management Software. The panel of judges included journalists, IT professionals, industry analysts, and peers in the software industry.
“Winning the CODiE is an honor for us,” said Scott Johnson, CEO. “It’s great to be chosen by our industry peers as the leader in project management software. Winning the award affirms that we are incorporating the right innovations into our product to help organizations do the right projects, maximize their resources, and improve efficiency.”

On May 14, 2008, @task was selected as a winner of the Red Herring 100 North America Award. AtTask joins previous winners such as Google, Yahoo!, Skype, Salesforce.com, and YouTube.
Joel Dreyfuss, Editor-in-Chief of Red Herring says, “The Red Herring 100 North America companies are impressive up-and-comers, and definitely the ones to watch.”
The award is presented annually to the 100 most innovative private technology companies in North America.

The May 2008 Release included many new features that were added and/or enhanced. The new look and functionality of the timesheet tool allows users and managers alike to better enter, manage, and report on the hours spent on projects.
In fact, each project manager can now approve or un-approve hours entered on the projects they are responsible for.
Other new timesheet features include:
• Viewing a list of hours entered by team members with the ‘View Hours’ link in the contextual menu
• Filtering for specific hours to view with the newly added ‘Search Options’ link
• Approving individual or multiple hour entries
• Searching and reporting on hours based upon approval status
These powerful new timesheet features help managers create more accurate billing records and provide accurate information to managers to improve project processes.
